It's Over
Now that I am done with the CFA exams, I don't have to be bogged down by my conscience incessantly telling me to study. It feels so good not to feel guilty whenever I am out on the town not thinking about leases, efficient markets and whatnot. Damn, it feels so good to be free!
As strange as it may sound, the whole process of preparing for it was fun in a sadistic sort of way. Don't get me wrong - the Level 1 surely isn't something I would want to repeat in June. The content is very broad but one good thing about it is that it refreshed my long-forgotten knowledge of Economics and Finance. I am tempted now to make a guide for those taking the exam but I will postpone it until after the results are released.
Now that this thing is out of the way, I can squeeze in more time to watch some movies I missed the past few months. The other night I was watching this Spanish film called Rec. A surprising gem in the horror genre, it's one of the best scary movie I've seen in a while. It's a zombie movie. Although the "undead" have been utilized countless of times in previous films, the cinematography for this one clearly stands out. Realism, night shots and shaky cameras are key to the appeal of this film.
You'll STILL have to get a job after all this, so do NOT start celebrating JUST yet.
Finding a job at the moment is IMPOSSIBLE.
